Setup Wireless Security in WA3002 -g1 UTStarcom BSNL Type 2 Modem



To enable proper wireless security in WA3002 -g1 BSNL Type 2 modem follow the steps below (Here I expect you are in Setup page of BSNL modem).


1. Click on Wireless

Click on Wireless tab in left hand side menu.

2. Click on Security tab under Wireless

To enable Wireless security in WA3002 -g1 BSNL Modem, click on security under wireless tab.

Have you ever faced the issue where your computer is keep connecting and disconnecting from wireless network ? It is like you can see the wireless networks available in your area but while trying to connect to the particular wireless network, it is disconnecting right after connect to the network. Here I am writing a set of troubleshooting steps which tell you how to troubleshoot this frequent wireless disconnection issue.

In case if you are facing issues with getting the wireless signals on your computer, follow the steps provided below.

My Laptop is not getting wireless and Internet

The first thing you need to make sure is the presence of any other wireless devices which can make wireless interference. Try to stop them and try to connect to the same wireless network. If still you are disconnecting from the network follow the steps below.

If you are able to see good wireless signals in your computer and only the connection has the problem follow the steps below.


1. Make sure you have the right wireless key

If you are entering wrong wireless key to connect the wireless network, you cannot logon to the network. So make sure you have the correct wireless key (Wireless network Authentication).
