In Windows 7, there is a nice feature called Problem Step Recorder (PSR) is introduced by Microsoft. This feature help you to record all activities on your computer by Windows 7 itself and convert the result in to a MHTML file format. By reading this you can identify the last done operation on your computer and help you to make correct solution for your computer issue. To start PSR (Problem Step Recorder ) in your Windows 7 computer follow the steps below.


Start PSR (Problem Step Recorder ) in Windows 7



1. Click on Start

2. Type PSR on Search

Now press enter to open PSR window.

3. Click on Start Record

Now PSR will start record all kinds of errors and problems with your computer and store the result as a single zip MHTML file.

When you need to stop this recording you should click on Stop Record. If you need to pause the PSR recording ,click on Pause Record. When click stop ,PSR record will save the file on your computer with the name and location you specified.

Saving PSR record on your computer in MHTML format

The PSR record is a zipped file in MHTML format. You should extract the file and open in a web browser to see all the operations going on your computer with screen shots.
